Stages of the game

Preparation of the rules of the game.

The game targeted the students of grades VI - VIII, who were to create teams of six. Each team moved according to the map (created in GoogleMaps). Students run towards the bases pointed on the map, (the team must  appear in full squad) and has to solve different tasks. It is possible to use cell phones to solve tasks. After solving the task, the team receives confirmation of correctness of the task completion (signature of the person standing in the base) and moves to the next place marked on the map. The game is won by the team that completes the tasks the fastest and arrives at the finish line.

Preparation of tasks for the game and the necessary props.

The students demonstrate their knowledge about the European Union by solving tasks about the EU and the countries that make up the EU and the ability to use ICT tools. Types of prepared tasks: matching the author to the book, entering the missing words into the text of Fryderyk Schiller's poem "Ode to Joy", solving rebuses to find out in which countries, outside the European Union member states, you can pay using the euro currency and crossword puzzles (this slogan is called the zone where EU citizens can move without border control), match the name of the country with its flag and capital, and at the end of the game they sing a randomly selected song, with a choice of: "Bailando" - Enriqe Iglesias, "Malovany dzbanku" - Irena Vondrackova , "Felicita" - Al. Bano and "So bist du" - Peter Maffay (from YouTube).
The organizers prepare maps for individual teams, team badges and diplomas.

Arranging registration for participation in the game.

As the game is played in public area of the town (not a school property), each student palying must have a parental consent to participate in the game. Then you gather the consents.

Informing the Police about the organization of the game through the school counselor.

The Great Final - An outdoor game in the city park of Stawiszyn "Europeans are us".

Teams of 6 people, supervised by teachers, go to the park. After reminding the rules and handing out the maps, the teams start the game. At the end, each team receives a commemorative diploma and a sweet gift (funded by sponsors).

Etapy gry

Przygotowanie regulaminu gry.

Gra skierowana była do uczniów klas VI – VIII, którzy mieli stworzyć 6- osobowe drużyny. Każda drużyna poruszała się według mapy (utworzonej w GoogleMaps). Na poszczególnych stanowiskach drużyna (musiała zjawić się w pełnym składzie) rozwiązywała zadanie. Istniałam możliwość korzystania z telefonów komórkowych przy rozwiązywaniu zadań. Po rozwiązaniu zadania, drużyna otrzymywała potwierdzenie poprawności wykonania zadania (podpis osoby stojącej na stanowisku) i udawała się do kolejnego miejsca oznaczonego na mapie. Grę wygrała drużyna, która najszybciej wykonała zadania i zjawiła się na mecie.

Przygotowanie zadań do gry oraz potrzebnych rekwizytów.
Uczniowie musieli wykazać się swoją wiedzą na temat Unii Europejskiej rozwiązując zadania o UE oraz państwach, wchodzących w skład UE i umiejętnością korzystania z TIK. Rodzaje przygotowanych zadań: dopasowanie autora do książki, wpisanie brakujących wyrazów w tekst poematu Fryderyka Schillera „Oda do radości”, rozwiązywanie rebusów, aby dowiedzieć się w jakich krajach, poza państwami członkowskimi Unii Europejskiej można płacić używając waluty euro oraz krzyżówki (hasło to nazywa się strefa, po której unijni obywatele mogą poruszać się bez kontroli granicznej), dopasowywali nazwę danego kraju do jego flagi oraz stolicy, a na zakończenie gry śpiewali wylosowany utwór, mając do wyboru: „Bailando” - Enriqe Iglesias, „Malovany dzbanku” - Irena Vondrackova, „Felicita” - Al. Bano i „So bist du” - Peter Maffay (z serwisu youtube).
Organizatorki przygotowały mapy dla poszczególnych drużyn, oznaczenia kolorystyczne drużyn oraz dyplomy.

Zorganizowanie zapisów do udziału w grze.
Przygotowanie, pod nadzorem opiekuna, zgód na udział w grze uczniów/uczennic. Zebranie zgód.

Przetestowanie trasy gry.

Poinformowanie Policji o zorganizowaniu Biegu za pośrednictwem pedagoga szkolnego.

Wielki Finał - Gra terenowa w parku miejskim w Stawiszynie „Europejczycy to my”.

6-osobowe drużyny pod opieką nauczycieli udali się do parku. Po przypomnieniu zasad, rozdaniu map, drużyny rozpoczęły grę. Na zakończenie każda drużyna otrzymała pamiątkowy dyplom i słodki upominek (ufundowany przez sponsorów).
